Check pipes and faucets regularly for leaks. Insulate exposed pipes in cold weather to help prevent freezing.
Keep grease, coffee grounds and wipes out of drains. Use drain filters to catch hair and debris.
Watch for an unexpected increase in your water bill. It may be a sign of a hidden leak.
