About H2O
Water access has always been about more than a bill.
Rooted in Birmingham and approaching 25 years of impact, Help 2 Others Foundation connects immediate assistance with a stronger future for our community.
Our mission
H2O helps seniors and adults with disabilities maintain safe, reliable water access—supporting health, housing and household stability.
We believe every household deserves safe water and a secure home. Our work is powered by local donations, caring neighbors and community partnerships.
Our Birmingham roots
Founded in 2004, H2O grew from a local response to rising utility costs into a trusted source of assistance for Greater Birmingham residents.
H2O is a separate nonprofit organization, working in partnership with Central Alabama Water Works. Today, we are expanding education and partnerships alongside our core assistance programs.
